CSRD OBJECTIVES:
CSRD is purely a voluntary organization devoted to Social and economic Development through its different approaches and services. The organization undertakes various community development activities .
Following are the main objectives of the CSRD:
- To undertake Social Surveys, Research Projects, Participatory Research that are related to the socio-economic problems of the rural and urban communities.
- To undertake Integrated Rural Development and Extension Service Programmes.
- To promote, motivate and organize the people to participate in the programmes of socio-economic development.
- To organize Educational and Training Programmes for the children, handicapped, youths and women.
- To collaborate with the national and international organizations for social change and social development.
- To create a forum through which the social thinkers, social scientists and social workers may exchange their views and experience.
- To undertake publication work including the news papers and other periodicals.
- To undertake various social research and developmental projects sponsored by the State and Central Governments including the National and International voluntary organizations.
- To establish a Nodal Centre of Social Agencies in which various type of social welfare and services agencies for the women, children, handicapped, aged etc. will be clubbed together under a common roof.
- To establish a School of Studies and Research in Rural Development.
